DALLAS COWBOYS (1964-1977) Pro Football Hall of Fame legend Mel Renfro joins DCS April 23-24, 2022! All-time interception leader! (Saturday only)
The great Mel Renfro is a former DALLAS COWBOYS Cornerback player, taking the field from 1964 until 1977, a two-time Super Bowl champion, 10x Pro Bowl, 7x All-Bowl, and all-time leader for Cowboy interceptions, 52 in all (In 1969 he led the NFL in interceptions with 10). Born in Houston, Mel is a Pro Football Hall of Famer with very impressive records. In the 1970 NFC Championship Game, Renfro had a key interception that led to the Cowboys’ game-winning touchdown over the San Francisco 49ers that helped them get to Super Bowl V. Dallas returned in Super Bowls VI, X, and XII, Renfro’s last NFL game, a Cowboys’ 27–10 victory over the Denver Broncos. Appears at DALLAS COMIC SHOW’s “Spring Spectacular” on April 23-24, 2022 courtesy of Vanbreed Studios.
