Representing The Estate of Bernie Wrightson, Liz Wrightson comes to DCS Aug 25-26

The legendary “Master of the Macabre” Bernie Wrightson was a dear friend of the show, and one of his final convention appearances was the first Dallas Comic Show in April of 2016. Last year we said goodbye to Bernie, and his absence is still felt among fans and friends. We’re honored to be joined by his lovely wife Liz Wrightson, who will be appearing at the show with books, artwork and prints in memory of Bernie’s outstanding comic book legacy. Liz also worked directly with IDW and artist Kelley Jones to help complete and release the final issue of FRANKENSTEIN ALIVE, ALIVE! – this would be the final comic book to hit shelves featuring artwork by Bernie. Liz’s passion for art and creativity made appearances by The Wrightsons at conventions all over the world a treat for fans. She is also an avid STAR WARS fan and collector, and has constructed her own droid, appearing at Star Wars Celebration as well. We’re very happy to have Liz join us and her good friends Tim Bradstreet, James O’Barr, Chiara Bautista, and others already on our guest list, so let’s give her a warm welcome back to Texas this August 25-26.
