Cosplayer Michael Byrnes comes to DCS Aug 25-26 (attending Sunday Only)

Michael Byrnes doesn’t just cosplay as Superman, he immediately strikes you as the living embodiment of the Alex Ross-esque Man of Steel, showing that even a family man can be one of the best cosplayers in the room. Byrnes is retired Military after serving in the Air Force (see, a man CAN fly), and has become a welcome sight at Southern conventions, rising in popularity with fans after initially showing up with his entire family in costume. Some folks may not realize Michael has also been in some BIG Hollywood movies, including HAROLD & KUMAR: ESCAPE FROM GUANTANAMO BAY, DISASTER MOVIE, and OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN (see the clip below, he’s standing right behind Morgan Freeman). We’re happy to welcome Michael to the show, he’ll be appearing on Sunday where Krystle Starr’s booth is on Saturday… don’t miss seeing these super-folks!
