POSTPONED – Join our very special “An Evening with Shang Tsung” Sunday, June 27th at Studio Movie Grill in Arlington
UPDATE (June 24th) – we were informed this evening by Cary’s representation that an unforeseen scheduling conflict has happened, and Cary is no longer able to attend our Saturday event on June 26, or the Sunday screening. We absolutely did not know this was going to happen, and we proposed every possible solution we could think of to keep from canceling this appearance. As with any guest at these events, professional commitments come first. Cary is extremely sorry to all of his fans that he is unable to attend as planned, but promises to make up for it by coming to our November 6-7 event, and we will reschedule the screening to take place that weekend. For those who purchased tickets for the screening, we will give you the option for a refund which will be processed next week, or we can keep you on file for the November rescheduling, and give you priority line placement for the screening that weekend, which includes priority placement in Cary’s line for the signing afterward. We are very sorry to have to announce this, but we assure you there was nothing we could do.
After Dallas Comic Show’s Saturday Special on June 26th, the fun doesn’t stop, as we’ve got some special evening events happening that fans will definitely want to check out. One of them is happening Sunday night, June 27th at Studio Movie Grill in Arlington, TX (Lincoln Square location). Our honorable guest Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, who of course is well know for playing the villainous Shang Tsung, will be on site for a very special screening, followed by a Q&A session, and then followed by a signing in the lobby. You’ll need a ticket, which you can get by clicking ADD TO CART below. You won’t want to miss this rare opportunity to hear the legendary actor talk about one of his most iconic roles.
The film starts at 6:45pm (Sunday night, June 27th) and will be followed by a Q&A. Cary will sign in the lobby after the Q&A, there will be a charge for autographs and photo ops on his photos or your items. You must have a ticket to attend, which can be bought below. Admission tickets are good for entry to the event. The Studio Movie Grill serves fine food and beverages for all tastes – dinner and a movie! Tickets are $12.00 each. Please note, purchasing an admission ticket will secure you a seat for the screening, but all food at the theater, and all autographs and photo ops from Cary must be purchased separately.
