FLASH, WEB OF SPIDER-MAN and LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES artist Greg LaRocque comes to DCS November 6-7!
Let’s try this again, as Greg was originally going to be with us for our August 2021 event and sadly had to postpone, so we’re going to do our very best to have him come November 6-7 instead! After cutting his artistic teeth on various issues of POWER MAN AND IRON FIST issues from 1981 through 1985, he then worked on LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES from 1985 through 1988, followed by THE FLASH from 1988 through 1993… but in between there he started Marvel’s WEB OF SPIDER-MAN title, handling art chores on the first five issues and eventually Annual #3. Ladies and gentlemen, we are honored to welcome legendary artist Greg LaRocque to his very first Dallas show, joining us as a special guest at DALLAS COMIC SHOW’s Holiday Special this November 6-7 at Music City Mall in Lewisville! Greg has done some amazing comic book work through the years, including THE AVENGERS, FIGHTING AMERICAN, GHOSTS, INCREDIBLE HULK #279, JUSTICE LEAGUE ANNUAL #7, JUSTICE LEAGUE TASK FORCE, MARVEL SUPER-HEROES, MARVEL TEAM-UP, MOON KNIGHT, SAVAGE SWORD OF CONAN, SECRETS OF HAUNTED HOUSE, SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN, STARGATE ATLANTIS, THE THREE STOOGES (various comics), TALES OF THE LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES (1986-87), THOR #323, WARLORD, WHAT IF?, WHO’S WHO, and more. He also returned to working on THE FLASH once more in DC RETROACTIVE: FLASH – THE 80’S in 2011. Greg has been one of our favorite artists over the years, and we’re over the moon to welcome him for his first Dallas convention. Let’s make sure to give him a warm Texas welcome!
