ROCKY HORROR and SPIN CITY star Barry Bostwick comes to DCS August 6-7
We’re honored to welcome Tony Award and Golden Globe Award-winning actor Barry Bostwick to Dallas Comic Show this August 6-7. After cutting his teeth on stage in various theater productions, he caught the attention of moviegoers with the leading man role of “Brad Majors” in THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW in 1975. Bostwick jumped into action in 1982’s classic tough guy flick MEGAFORCE, and has starred in films like WEEKEND AT BERNIES II, SPY HARD, HANNAH MONTANA: THE MOVIE, FDR: AMERICAN BADASS! and SOME GUY WHO KILLS PEOPLE. Barry has appeared in multiple TV movies in THE PARENT TRAP franchise, and provided his voice for projects like 101 DALMATIANS 2: PATCH’S LONDON ADVENTURE and PHINEAS & FERB (as Grandpa Clyde). In 1984 he played George Washington in the TV mini-series GEORGE WASHINGTON, and hosted SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE that same year. Bostwick starred on six seasons of SPIN CITY opposite Michael J. Fox and Charlie Sheen, and he’s had recurring roles in popular television series like LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIM’S UNIT, UGLY BETTY, SCANDAL and COUGAR TOWN. You may also have seen him on hit shows like SUPERNATURAL, GHOST WHISPERER, NIP/TUCK and GLEE… to name but a few. We couldn’t be happier to host this wonderful stage and screen master at our event, so help us give Barry a warm Texas welcome this August.
