Meet Anime voice for DRAGON BALL’s Cui, Guldo, Neiz, Don Para, Lord Jaguar, Appule, Babidi and Monster Carrot, plus YU YU HAKUSHO’s Elder Toguro, and more – Bill Townsley’s first ever signing appearance is at DCS April 26-27, 2025!
Bill Townsley is a Dallas native who got his start in voice acting back in 2000 while working at FUNimation (now Crunchyroll) as a web and motion graphics designer. That behind-the-scenes gig quickly launched a two-decade-long adventure behind the mic, bringing some of anime’s most notorious and entertaining villains to life.
Bill is best known for his work across the DRAGON BALL franchise, where he’s voiced an impressive lineup of characters including the conniving Cui, fan-favorite Guldo (in the remastered English dubs), Neiz, Don Para, Lord Jaguar, Appule (in two episodes), and even Monster Carrot in DRAGON BALL: ORIGINS. His sinister take on Babidi can be heard in DRAGON BALL Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and 3, Shin Budokai: Another Road, and Raging Blast.
As Cui, Bill has appeared in multiple DRAGON BALL video games over the years including Raging Blast, Ultimate Tenkaichi, Battle of Z, and most recently, the 2024 release of Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, continuing to breathe life into the trash-talking Frieza soldier fans love to hate.
Anime fans also know him as Elder Toguro in YU YU HAKUSHO, Neiz in Dragon Ball Z: Cooler’s Revenge, Scar’s Brother in Fullmetal Alchemist, and Lord Jaguar in Dragon Ball Z: Bio-Broly.
We’re thrilled to welcome Bill Townsley to Dallas Comic Show’s Spring Spectacular, April 26–27, 2025, at The Vista Mall in Lewisville! Come say hi, grab a photo or autograph, and ask him which villain voice is the most fun to scream at full volume in a sound booth. This is Bill’s first ever signing event, and we’re honor to say that!
Autograph on photo $40, photo selfie $20, combo $60
Autograph on fan-provided Funko or merch item $55. Bill will also have prints and items available for purchase at his table.
