Mitch Breitweiser (CAPTAIN AMERICA) & Elizabeth Breitweiser (OUTCAST) come to DCS August 6-7

We’re just getting started with our comic book creator guest list, but we’re overjoyed to add both Mitch Breitweiser and Elizabeth Breitweiser to the guest list. Both have turned in stellar work in some of the hottest comics out there, and the best is yet to come. Check out their respective credits below…

Mitch Breitweiser – he’s contributed art to books like AGENT X, AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #600, ANNIHILATION, ANNIHILATION: CONQUEST, CAPTAIN AMERICA, CAPTAIN AMERICA THEATER OF WAR: OPERATION ZERO-POINT, CAPTAIN AMERICA: PATRIOT #1-4, CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE CHOSEN #1-4, CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE TRIAL OF CAPTAIN AMERICA, DRAX THE DESTROYER #1-4 (this series redefined the look of Drax and heavily influenced the GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY movie), HULK: RAGING THUNDER #1, PHANTOM JACK #1-5, ULTIMATE FANTASTIC FOUR, and UNCANNY X-MEN: LOVELORN. Check out his newest project THE FUTURISTS, which looks amazing.

Elizabeth Breitweiser – she’s contributed colors to books like AGENTS OF ATLAS #1, AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #600, ATLAS #1-5, AVENGERS VS. ATLAS #1-4, BLACK WIDOW AND THE MARVEL GIRLS #1-4 (covers), CAPTAIN AMERICA (several issues starting with #600), CAPTAIN AMERICA: PATRIOT #1-4, CAPTAIN AMERICA: PRISONER OF WAR, CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE CHOSEN, CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE TRIAL OF CAPTAIN AMERICA, THE FADE OUT, HULK (several issues starting with #25), INCREDIBLE HULK #603-604, SECRET AVENGERS, SKAAR: SON OF HULK, and WINTER SOLDIER. She’s also worked steadily on both Robert Kirkman’s OUTCAST and Ed Brubaker’s VELVET.

Dallas Comic Show

Founded in 2016, the Dallas Comic Show is a way for fans of comics, movies, television and other pop culture cravings to connect and reconnect with creators, actors and other fans!

#DallasComicShow is a family-friendly event in the DFW area featuring exciting comic book and media guests, costumed characters, gaming and Anime content.

Our mission is to bring back an affordable pop culture convention experience to the DFW area, something everyone can enjoy and embrace without breaking the bank. This is show run by fans and done for fans. We are here to make sure you have fun.

Our inaugural shows were held at the Richardson Convention Center - in the Spring of 2016 (April 23-24) and in late Summer 2016 (August 6-7). Our third event was at the Irving Convention Center on February 11-12, 2017, and our fourth back at the Richardson Civic Center on September 16-17, 2017.

In 2018 we had two fun events happening, August 25-26, and November 17-18.

In 2019, we had three shows - the first April 6-7 in Richardson, then August 10-11 in Lewisville, TX, and finally November 23-24 in Richardson.

In 2020, due to Coronavirus concerns, we decided to go on hiatus and not attempt public gatherings, which was probably for the best.

In 2021, the Dallas Comic Show returned with THREE events - the first being a single-day show on June 26, the second a two-day show August 21-22, and the third being November 6-7, and all three events will be held at the Music City Mall in Lewisville, TX. And a surprise addition, we hosted a special "Day of Cheer" on December 18, 2021 - a FREE admission event with several vendors and special guests... just in time for Christmas shopping!

In 2022, we started with February 19-20, followed by April 23-24, and then August 12-14, November 11-12, and finally December 17-18... our "Weekend of Cheer"

In 2023, we did a show April 29-30, August 26-27, November 18-19, 2023 and December 16-17, 2023

Our first show of 2024 was our Spring Spectacular held April 20-21, 2024, followed by our Fantasy Festival held August 24-25, 2024. Up next is our Holiday Special this November 23-24, 2024 - we hope to see you there!
