Cosplay all day at Dallas Comic Show and you could win cool prizes!
Please note, there will be a weapons check desk when you arrive. All prop weapons must be approved and tagged before being brought into the event. We will have a “Cosplay Lounge” room which can be used to make touch ups on costumes, or just take a break from walking the show floor. You’ll find it on the show floor map distributed at registration.
The Costume Contest will be held Sunday at 3:30pm and is expected to run about an hour. We’ll be awarding child’s costumes during the contest too (at the beginning), so bring the kids in their coolest outfit and they might just win something. The Sunday contest is intended for advanced cosplayers, but all entries are welcome. Dallas Comic Show is a family-friendly event, so we expect all costumes to be respectful and appropriate for a family atmosphere. If you have concerns about whether or not your costume is acceptable, please contact us in advance.
On Saturday night, after the show, join the crew at Yogomi presents Sarah Bellum’s Cosplay Prom, held at The Nines and starting at 9:00pm. You can visit Sarah Bellum at her table just inside past registration on the right. This is going to be a fun way to hang out in the evening, and wear your favorite costume.
