BUFFY, GUILD, SERENITY and THE AMERICAN WAY artist Georges Jeanty joins DCS Aug 25-26!

Georges Jeanty has illustrated and/or contributed covers to countless issues of Dark Horse’s BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER comics, starting in 2007 and carrying through their Season Eight, Season Nine, Season Ten, Season Eleven, and Season Twelve arcs. But the Whedon connection doesn’t stop there, as he’s also worked on multiple issues of THE GUILD comics, along with the highly-regarded FIREFLY comic series SERENITY: LEAVES ON THE WIND and SERENITY: NO POWER IN THE ‘VERSE.

His art has also been featured in books like John Ridley’s THE AMERICAN WAY, BATMAN ARKHAM: JOKER’S DAUGHTER, BATWOMAN, BATWOMAN ANNUAL #2, BISHOP: THE LAST X-MAN, DEADPOOL (#54 thru 64 in 2001-2002), DOGS OF WAR, FACES OF EVIL: DEATHSTROKE, GAMBIT, GAMBIT & BISHOP, GREEN LANTERN, GREEN LANTERN 3-D #1, MAJESTIC, Neil Gaiman’s LADY JUSTICE, THE NEW 52: FUTURES END, NEW X-MEN: ACADEMY X YEARBOOK #1, POIZON, RAZOR, SUPERBOY, SUPERMAN, TEAM SUPERMAN, TEEN TITANS, TITANS SECRET FILES, VAMPIROTICA, WEAPON X, WOLVERINE, WONDER WOMAN, THE X-FILES: SEASON 10, X-MEN UNIVERSE and X-MEN UNLIMITED… and that’s just the short list!

Last year Georges re-teamed with Academy Award-winning writer John Ridley (12 YEARS A SLAVE) to do a follow-up to THE AMERICAN WAY through DC’s Vertigo imprint called THE AMERICAN WAY: THOSE ABOVE AND THOSE BELOW, and Ridley is now set to direct that six issue mini-series into a big screen movie through Blumhouse.
