(In memory of) DEATHSTROKE, BATMAN RETURNS, CHECKMATE, STAR TREK artist Steve Erwin hits DCS November 18-19, 2023!

UPDATE: We received news on Thursday, October 26th, that Steve passed away. This is a devastating shock and our hearts are with his family during this time. We will be dedicating this November show to his memory, Steve was a dear friend and frequent guest at our events, he will be greatly missed.

Help us welcome back our good friend Steve Erwin to DALLAS COMIC SHOW’s Spring Holiday Special this November 18-19, 2023 at Music City Mall in Lewisville. Steve is known for his stellar work on DC Comics titles like BATMAN RETURNS, CHECKMATE, DEATHSTROKE THE TERMINATOR, GUNFIRE, HAWK AND DOVE, NEW GODS, NEW TITANS, STAR TREK, STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION, VIGILANTE and more. His independent comic work includes GRIMJACK, SHATTER, and THE FERRET. Erwin also illustrated the William Shatner-written STAR TREK story ASHES OF EDEN, one of many TREK comic projects he worked on. More recently he illustrated Robert E. Heinlein’s CITIZEN OF THE GALAXY. Steve does great original commissions, and almost always has affordable original art pages for sale. We’re very happy to welcome him back for our November 18-19 guest list!

Dallas Comic Show

Founded in 2016, the Dallas Comic Show is a way for fans of comics, movies, television and other pop culture cravings to connect and reconnect with creators, actors and other fans!

#DallasComicShow is a family-friendly event in the DFW area featuring exciting comic book and media guests, costumed characters, gaming and Anime content.

Our mission is to bring back an affordable pop culture convention experience to the DFW area, something everyone can enjoy and embrace without breaking the bank. This is show run by fans and done for fans. We are here to make sure you have fun.

Our inaugural shows were held at the Richardson Convention Center - in the Spring of 2016 (April 23-24) and in late Summer 2016 (August 6-7). Our third event was at the Irving Convention Center on February 11-12, 2017, and our fourth back at the Richardson Civic Center on September 16-17, 2017.

In 2018 we had two fun events happening, August 25-26, and November 17-18.

In 2019, we had three shows - the first April 6-7 in Richardson, then August 10-11 in Lewisville, TX, and finally November 23-24 in Richardson.

In 2020, due to Coronavirus concerns, we decided to go on hiatus and not attempt public gatherings, which was probably for the best.

In 2021, the Dallas Comic Show returned with THREE events - the first being a single-day show on June 26, the second a two-day show August 21-22, and the third being November 6-7, and all three events will be held at the Music City Mall in Lewisville, TX. And a surprise addition, we hosted a special "Day of Cheer" on December 18, 2021 - a FREE admission event with several vendors and special guests... just in time for Christmas shopping!

In 2022, we started with February 19-20, followed by April 23-24, and then August 12-14, November 11-12, and finally December 17-18... our "Weekend of Cheer"

In 2023, we did a show April 29-30, August 26-27, November 18-19, 2023 and December 16-17, 2023

Our first show of 2024 will be our Spring Spectacular - April 20-21, 2024 - we hope to see you there!
